Bloggiesta March 2013 – Starting Line & Goals

Woo! It’s Bloggiesta time!

Bloggiesta runs from March 22nd to 24th and it’s all about updating and working on your blog, as well as interacting with other participants. From the website:

Plan to spend as much time as you can working on your to do list and completing mini challenges. Don’t worry about having the entire three days to devote to this, but do challenge yourself to put in some good hours to the project.

I’m not able to participate ALL weekend, but I hope to get as much done as I can!

Here is my list, using the same format from Fall’s Bloggiesta. Some things I’ve kept on the list from the last time I participated because it just makes sense to do them all again:

THINGS THAT MUST BE DONE – SUPER SIMPLE BUT TOTALLY NECESSARY

1. Back up the blog.
2. Change the password.

THINGS THAT WILL BE TEDIOUS & WILL PROBABLY SET ME OFF ON SEVERAL COMPLAINING TANGENTS

1. Record Musical Saturday post for this Saturday. (Done! And posted!)
2. Write guest post for Cassie’s blog.
3. Write pending discussion posts for Winter Distractions.
4. Ensure all pending reviews are written.
5. Maybe add links to other bloggers’ reviews to my reviews? –> I’ve decided to NOT do this right now.

THE LITTLE THINGS (DO THESE LAST SO I CAN REJOICE IN THE EASIER THINGS IN LIFE)

1. Update Pinterest & clean out Bloglovin’ folders.
2. Add all review book reviews (ARCS & whatnot) to Indigo — and maybe Amazon. Maybe.
3. Cover Love for April and May.
4. Write letter entry for Winter Distractions.
5. Write up all pending posts for Winter Distractions — photos, in the kitchen. (This is done, I just have to add the photos to my kitchen posts)
6. Book Bingo post for end of March.
7. Check all static pages.
8. Brainstorm features and whatnot. (Got a new vlog for Winter Distractions & a possible feature for Reading In Winter!)
9. Top Ten Tuesday posts for the March and April on Winter Distractions? (I’ll work on this this week, hopefully.)

Added — Updated my Bandcamp page for my bookish song downloads (I was quite far behind with this!) (See my Bandcamp page!)
Added — Changed the images for my features & reviews. Working on updating all scheduled posts & will work on past posts little by little.
Added — Wrote a discussion post for August!

THE ONGOING FUN THINGS (WHICH WILL PROBABLY TAKE UP MOST OF MY TIME)

1. Meet new bloggers.
2. Participate in the mini-challenges!
3. Comment on other participants’ blogs.
4. Chat on Twitter (like I really needed to record that). (Participated in 1.5 chats!)

Looks like I have my work cut out for me!
